Celebrating the last day of summer with some lilikoi margaritas! School starts tomorrow for my kiddos although they won’t actually be GOING to school. Many of you are likely in the same situation so I thought this would be the perfect time to share some lilikoi margaritas with you 🙂 They are quite refreshing on a hot day too!
I didn’t have the most optimal ingredients on hand but we made do with what we had and they actually tasted pretty darn good!! But hey, that’s what we do right? If you have a food sensitivity you know what I’m talking about!!
Ingredients: 2 drinks
- 3 1/2 oz tequila
- 3 oz lilikoi syrup (subbed for equal amounts of lilikoi puree & simple syrup)
- 3 oz lime juice
- 1 1/2 oz orange Curacao (Cointreau)
- Li hing mui powder
Directions:
- Wet the rim of each glass then roll the edges with a thin layer of li ing mui powder.
- Mix the remaining ingredients. Pour over ice and enjoy!
For an added touch add a lime wedge and an orchid to each glass!
