SUPER EXCITED to announce the official opening of Coast to Coast Fish House!! They’ve actually been around for a while as a food cart, but sadly I wasn’t aware of them or I would have totally hung out at English Estate Winery this summer and enjoyed some local wines and delicious gluten-free fish & chips! This last month they’ve moved into the space where Corbett Fish House used to be, near Costco off 192nd.

Before COVID we enjoyed a Friday night date-night walk to a couple gluten-free restaurants nearby, both of which have closed permanently. Well…new life was born out of tragedy this last month with the opening of Coast to Coast Fish House. After not eating in a sit-down restaurant for nine months we’ve been four times in the last week 😁

Most menu items are gluten-free & celiac safe. There are some menu items containing gluten but, as stated on their menu, they are prepared in a separate area! I know this is silly, but I really love the fact that the gluten foods are prepared in a separate area rather than the gluten-free foods. I know it’s really the same thing but for a celiac it’s not. Wording it like that makes us feel normal, thank you Coast to Coast Fish House 🙂

Shall we call it a taste test?

On Saturday we brought two of our kids & went a little crazy trying a little bit of everything 🤣 We all shared a dish of crispy calamari with their homemade sauce, and the fish & chips were to die for, we all agreed it was our favorite ever! My husband & kids gobbled up the lobster mac-n-cheese, crab cakes, and shrimp & chips (I’m allergic to shellfish too!) I savored a fish taco & thoroughly enjoyed the house salad!! We ate way too much food, probably shouldn’t have tried to cram 9 months of not eating out into one night, but we don’t regret a thing. To top it all off, they have Ground Breaker IPA #5 on tap as well as a lovely assortment of local English Estate wines.

What’s on tap?

Here is a sneak peek at all their beers & ciders on tap. We haven’t tried the Incline Marionberry yet but we have had their Hopped Cider & it’s great. Obviously we love Ground Breaker IPA #5, it’s so delicious on tap!

Can’t get enough…

As if that wasn’t enough we called in a to-go order on Sunday since our oldest missed out on the fun the day before. We ordered three of their 5 piece fish & chips and splurged on a growler of Ground Breaker IPA #5. I think we need a fish & chips intervention 🤣 As we were picking up the order we ran into our gluten-free friends/neighbors who were going in to check it out, hope they enjoyed it as much as we have 🙂
