We visted Ground Breaker Gastropub in Portland, OR for the first time in 2014. It is a dedicated gluten free facility so you do NOT need to worry at all about cross contamination! The chef’s wife has celiac disease so he knows how serious it is. My family thought the food was phenomenal. They had things I thought I’d never be able to have at a restaurant including fried chicken and bread pudding!! The best part is that EVERYTHING is gluten free so you don’t have worry about ordering the wrong thing! The kids liked the pizza although, it was not your normal everyday pizza. If you like fast food I have to warn you – it was about as far from Dominoes pizza as you could get! They also had wonderful beers that tasted like real beer! You can even order a sampler to try all their different types of beer, none of which taste gluten free by the way! The IPA #5 is my favorite…and it tastes like real IPA!!!
Several of their beers are sold at New Season’s. They are also available at Corbett Fish House, another amazing gluten free restaurant!
