Desert Essence is another great gluten-free brand offering everything from oils, to skin care, hair care, body care, personal care & dental care! Their products have a long list of certifications beyond gluten-free including vegan, cruelty free, non GMO, no artificial dyes or fragrances, organic etc. We get their lotions from Amazon or New Seasons. These are a few of our favorites but they have a lot more too!!
A few of our other skin care favorites
Here are some of our other skin care favorites. These do not particularly say anywhere that they are gluten-free on them, however, I have been using these without any trouble and I am typically pretty sensitive. We did try to reach out to Johnson and Johnson regarding their Clean and Clear products. They did not specifically say they were gluten-free however they gave us a list of ingredients (see below) to look out for which we did not see in any of the products listed below, however, the ultimate decision is up to you on whether these are celiac safe.
Johnson and Johnson’s list of wheat containing ingredients: hydrolyzed wheat gluten, triticum vulgare (wheat) gluten, triticum vulgare (wheat) gluten extract, hydrolyzed wheat protein, triticum vulgare (wheat) germ protein, potassium cocoyl hydrolyzed wheat protein, palmitoyl hydrolyzed wheat protein.
