Gluten-Free Waffles

Gluten-free waffles can be delicious AND fun! The key is using the right gluten-free flours and your choice of fun waffle iron shapes. We love our Snoopy waffle iron the best but the good ‘ol fashioned waffle iron makes amazing gluten-free waffles too! As I always say, get creative and have fun with your food 🙂

Pre-heat waffle irons while you mix up your batter.

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Mix dry ingredients together in separate bag or bowl.
  2. Separate the egg whites into a small bowl and beat with an electric mixer until the whites are stiff.
  3. In a medium bowl blend the egg yolks, milk, oil and extracts then add in the dry ingredients and mix just until smooth.
  4. Gently fold egg whites into your batter.
  5. Pour scant 2/3 cup batter onto center of hot waffle iron. Close lid and bake for about 5 minutes or until steaming stops.
  6. Carefully remove waffles and serve immediately. Top with fresh berries.
